Made to Order: This item is manufactured specifically for you once your order is placed. Should you wish to make any changes to the size, please notify us within 24 hours of placing your order. Please allow 4–8 weeks for manufacturing and an additional 4–8 weeks for shipping, depending on production schedules and container availability.

As we manufacture internationally, lead times can vary. Depending on where your order falls within our manufacturing cycle and own store production, it may be included in an earlier or later shipment, which could shorten or extend the estimated delivery timeframe. Our rattan pendants are handcrafted by a family of artisans we have worked with since the inception of 8 Degrees South. Each design begins with a welded metal frame, wrapped in rattan before being woven by hand. Once complete, the pendant is flame-finished to remove loose fibres and sealed for added protection. Made within a multi-generational family workshop in Bali, every piece carries the story, skill and tradition of the people who create it, and the family whose lives unfold alongside it each day.

To keep the final retail price as accessible as possible, and to comply with import regulations surrounding electrical components, we supply the lampshade only. Our pendants are designed to work with a standard bulb holder and can be easily fitted over most existing light fittings.
